Hi, I recently installed a new Kernel (2.4.18) on SuSE 7.3, as such ALSA then failed, so I installed the .tar 'alsa-driver-0.5.12a' in the usual way: make install etc..
And all seems ok, but I've just discovered that I didn't remove the rpm packages 'alsa-devel-0.5.11-55' & 'alsa-0.5.11-55'. Will this cause any (future) problems?
