Are there any limitations on the type of .wav files that aplay can play? In particular with regards to sample rate?
I am able to record and playback files at 44100Hz, but no lower, using my RME9636 card with arecord and aplay. I can listen to certain .wav files through this card when I click on them in a netscape browser but not when I download them and try to use aplay to hear them.
