Hello, i have tried any method , talked with lots of people, read too much... I'm lost and you guys are my last resort.
The question is simple, i dont know about the answer... I have alsa 0.9rc1 with a sb live on gentoo linux... It sounds, but i have 4 speakers and the rear ones dont work... On mandrake 8.2 with alsa 0.5 i only had to open up all the mixer bars on kmix, aumix, etc, but this does not work for me on 0.9 amixer reports too many interfaces and i dont know what to use. I did amixer set Master 100 unmute and the same with PCM, i repeat sound works but not the rear speakers... Can someone help me? I'm not subscribed (i didn't see it was mandatory) so please cc me if you would like to help me. Thanks for your time Francisco J.
