This is yet another experience of mine. I have finally got my sound card working on my computer using the latest alsa driver .rc2. However, I encountered a new problem, which is the sound quality is very poor, even at low volume, the sound is cracking, compare to window environement. My speaker and sound card is in perfect condition, I'm sure of it. How do I adjust the sound quality? I'm using Red Hat 7.2, GNOME with alsa 0.9rc2. Thanks for help.
