Well, i don't know. I mean, it was a really bad mistake from my part.
I've built some RPMs for Red Hat 7.3, and i forgot to setup proper
permissions in the spec.
That's why i ended up with a 644 /usr/share/alsa

Once i run strace on alsamixer, the error became obvious, and that's how
i fixed it.
