Hi,
I managed to compile the driver and my modules.conf looks like this:

Now if I try to load the module I get the following:

Further I get contradictions like:

[root@localhost utils]# ./alsasound start
ALSA driver is already running.
[root@localhost utils]# amixer
The ALSA sound driver was not detected in this system.
[root@localhost utils]#

Can anybody please tell me what's wrong here.I am stuck at this point for
hours!!!
