I know I have asked this before, and before that, but I have seen no answer. I am running 0.9.0rc3, but the same was true on all previous versions:
I can use timidity to play MIDI files, and mpg123 to hear MP3. Aplay works for mono files at 44100 Hz. But.... stereo files are silent. They take the correct amount of time, but nothing is heard. I can find no documentation that relates to this. I assume that when a stereo file is played it is going to the ADAT interface, instead of the S/PDIF that i want to use. As there is no mixer for this card the usual fiddling about will not work.
