could you test the attached patch?
don't forget to raise "Surround", "Center", and "LFE" playback
volumes.
you might need to turn "Mic As Center/LFE" or "Line-In As Surround"
switches on. they toggle the shared jacks for playback or capture
direction.
for 6-channel tests, for example, play an ac3 file like
% ac3dec -6 foo.ac3
