OK, now I'm a bit confused.  It look like you are
loading the "sb" module rather than the snd-4236
(sound-slot-0 is given to sb), and your options
explicitly call for both cards to take irq 5, which is
not good.

Send me the output of /sbin/lsmod with this
modules.conf in effect.  And send me the output of
/proc/pci.
