Hello, does anybody have experience with using the 'share' plugin in .asoundrc?
I own a multichannel card and want to use outputs 1/2 and 3/4 as separate cards. Now I set up my asoundrc file as in ref. 1 and it works fine. Well, almost. I can use either output 1/2 -or- 3/4, but not at the same time. I cannot start a program using one set of outputs as long as the other set is open, it will block until the other set of outputs has been closed. I'd be happy for any help here.
