I installed the alsa-drivers like it's described on the alsa website.
Since there are no comments in the soundcard-matrix that the spdif don't
I thought, there would be a point in the mixer tools to control this port.
But at first I didn't hear anything.
Trying mp3blaster I could hear the sound via my Yamaha-Receiver.
After installing the alsaplayer it works also for wavs.
Now it seems to me like this:
The analog input of the card isn't brought to the analog-out.
Only digital input via the pci-bus gets to this port.
As you might see I'm not very deep in these kind of things, but
I hope you can understand what I want to.
With my SB-Live 5.1 under Win... there are no problems bringing
analog in via the koaxial digital out to the receiver.
Now I have to search for information how to turn the "IEC958 ...Switch" on.
