Hello, I am trying to get the optical s/pdif working on my Shuttle SB51G computer, that uses the Intel 845G chipset, with Realtek ALC650 codec. I'm using the latest ALSA drivers from the Realtek website - version 0.9.0rc5 I believe. Sound works OK from the analog outputs but I can't get any response from the s/pdif. Works fine under WindowsXP so I know hardware is OK. Is this supported? If not, is there any way I can help developers get it supported?
