Hello everybody.
I have en embedded system and I actually have a legitimate need for the
dummy driver.
But I could need a few pointers in what is needed module wise to get it
running.
I have an IR camera hooked up, and I would like to use FFMpeg for initial
tests, but the server requires a /dev/dsp to get its sound from.
Needless to say that I don't have a sound card. And that is where the dummy
driver comes in.
I downloaded alsa-utils-0.5.10.tar.bz2, alsa-driver-0.5.12a.tar.bz2, and
alsa-lib-0.5.10b.tar.bz2
As of now I only compiled and installed the driver part assuming that is is
actually what I need. I could be wrong here though.
Anyway - I end up getting a ton of unresolved symbols.
Any insight is greatly appreciated,
