Hi,

I just upgraded my kernel to 2.5.65 from 2.4.20 and am no longer able to compile the ALSA ice1712 driver, either as a module or builtin. The message I get it:

gcc -Wp,-MD,sound/pci/ice1712/.ice1712.o.d -D__KERNEL__ -Iinclude -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i486 -falign-functions=0 -falign-jumps=0 -falign-loops=0 -Iinclude/asm-i386/mach-default -nostdinc -iwithprefix include -DMODULE -DKBUILD_BASENAME=ice1712 -DKBUILD_MODNAME=snd_ice1712 -c -o sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.o sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.c
sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.c:1995: parse error before "__attribute__"
sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.c:1910: warning: `snd_ice1712_pro_internal_clock_info' defined but not used
sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.c:1937: warning: `snd_ice1712_pro_internal_clock_get' defined but not used
sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.c:1960: warning: `snd_ice1712_pro_internal_clock_put' defined but not used
make[3]: *** [sound/pci/ice1712/ice1712.o] Error 1

I use Gentoo Linux and previous installed the driver as a module, using ebuild media-sound/alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc6, which worked fine; unfortunately the ebuild now fails here:

/usr/src/linux/include/asm/irq.h:16:25: irq_vectors.h: No such file or directory
make[3]: *** [fastdep] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc6/work/alsa-driver-0.9.0rc6/acore/seq'

Thank you for any advice.
-Jesse
