Hello,
I've run into an issue here after getting alsa all up and running. I can
play anything (mp3, ogg, wav, au, etc) just fine, have used jack with
ardour and tha also works. However, I cannot play any midi.
When using playmidi <midiname.mid> it just sits there looking like it is
playing, but nothing comes out. If I do playmidi -v it shows activity
(track, lyrics, etc) but still no sound. my midi modules seem to be loaded
but I will show an output just in case. I am running an SB Live! Value. If
anyone could shed some light on this it would be great!
