hello,
i want to record something from the line in of my motherboard (VIA)
i use the alsa via82xx and all is allright for playback (xmms,
mplayer...)
i thing that my line channel is selected for record :
amixer says :
Simple mixer control 'Line',0
Capabilities: pvolume pswitch pswitch-joined cswitch cswitch-joined
cswitch-exclusive
Capture exclusive group: 0
Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right
Capture channels: Front Left - Front Right
Limits: Playback 0 - 31
Front Left: Playback 29 [94%] [on] Capture [on]
Front Right: Playback 29 [94%] [on] Capture [on]
and when i launch alsamixer it is the channel selected for record ans
unmuted
but when i use arecord, the file is leer. When i open it whith snd as an
example, waves are flat, nothing !!
and when i try to use snd to acquire the sound, i obtained a window with
: "no audio input devices available" repeated twice
what can i do ??
i can hear the sound on this channel but no record it !!!
