Hello group, Is there currently any way to have Alsa mix the audio and allow more then one app to share the sound device? I read in the docs about dmix. However, is that just an option for aplay? I use Alsa with oss emulation and would like to have all apps, whether they use Alsa or OSS, to just to be able to use the sound card without hanging until some other app release it. I can do this with something like esd or jack, though not all apps support that yet. Is this possible with the current versions of Alsa?
