I'm having some trouble with snd-sb16 in kernel 2.6.0-test4-mm2. I have it compiled in, as opposed to loading as a module. I'm trying to get it to use an IRQ other than 5. The source (sb16.c) says it will take 5, 7, 9, or 10. It also says that the format is:
snd-sb16=enable,index,id,isapnp,port,mpu-port,fm-port,irq,dma8,dma16,mic_agc,csp
but when I use the parameter:
snd-sb16=1,0,sb16,0,0x220,0x330,0x388,7,1,5,1,1
all I get is a reboot... No warning messages, nothing, it just resets before displaying anything on the screen.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I already have the verbose printk and debug enabled...
Thanks,
-Wes-
