It seems the Extigy's mixer controls aren't really conforming to the
USB Audio Specification.

Please try to uncomment the "#define IGNORE_CTL_ERROR" in line 46 of
usbmixer.c, and to recompile the driver.

And maybe it helps to upgrade your Extigy to the latest firmware
version.

Do you have an example of where the extigy is not following the USB audio spec? Or are you just guessing that since it doesn't work they must not be following the spec?


Do you know for sure that upgrading the firmware will fix something? Is there a tool for doing this in linux?
