Does intel8x0 have integrated MIDI? If not, get a software synthesizer like timidity++ together with the patches.

Subject: [Alsa-user] MIDI doesn't work :-|

Hello,

I am having a bit of trouble getting MIDI to work on my sound card. I am
using alsa 0.9.4.

The problem is that everything seems to be in order, and yet I cannot
play midi files :-|

Here is the result lf "lsmod":

My modules.conf contains:

(I added the midi module my hand).

And yet, nothing seems to work :-(

What shall I do? Any suggestions?

Bye,

Merc.
