I have a generaly working install of alsa but I have one problem area. I have a Yamaha midi keyboard that I connected to the game port of the sound blaster pro with a cable I got at COMPUSA. When I try to use alsa-patch-bay to connect the listed midi port to amSnyth I get a message that the resource is temporarily unavailable. As far as I can tell no other program is using it. When I do an lsmod I see a snd-rawmidi device listed. Pleas help. HHB
