I am having strange problems with alsa right now. I have actually had it with redhat 7.3 and planet ccrma too. Randomly when I start up I get start up messages to the effect that insmod ------alsa information-- failed to load because such and such device already exists. When i start up I get the failure below. No sound program works. Sometimes snd-usb-audio does load and runs fine in the start up scripts, but I still get the errors below and no sound program works. Any ideas?
