not likely. The cs46xx driver doesn't seem to like some cards. I never got my old Terratec DMX XFire 1024 working without distortion and I used various distributions, kernel and ALSA versions. It never really worked. This problem also comes up on the list on a regular basis. I don't really follow the list closely right now but I haven't noticed a real solution to the cs46xx problem yet. except maybe using the kernel drivers (Ok, I'm already running :-) or dumping cs46xx based cards.
