I am interested in the method how to put different signals into front and rear speakers. My intention is something like /dev/dsp0 for front and /dev/dsp1 for rear speakers as in OSS.
Then I can play different music in first headphones (for me) and in the second ones (for my girlfriend).
If I try do play something on /dev/dsp1 it refuses me. I have some devices in /proc/asound - dspC0D0, dspC0D3 etc.). But I don't know, how to use them correctly. I use alsa0.9.7.
Is it possible to do it somehow ?
Thanks for help,
Vasek
