You need to use the dshare plugin:
pcm.in23 {
type dshare
ipc_key 321456 # any unique value
ipc_key_add_uid true
slave {
pcm "hw:0,0"

buffer_size 4096 # ditto
}
bindings {
0 2
1 3
}
}
With other plugins use same parameters and replace only "2" and "3" with
the requested input channels.
