Hi all, I have been using ALSA 0.9.6, which worked fine except no mic capture. Well, I bought this Shuttle SB62G2 system in order to capture from the mic input, so you see my dilemma.
I upgraded to ALSA 1.0.1, and now it seems to want to let me record, but it keeps forcing 48000Hz in arecord, as in, it won't permit any other frequency. Also, JACK is now broken, because even though I tell it I want playback at 44100, it switches to 48000, and I can't pump CD audio at it anymore. ALSA 0.9.6, as packaged in Mandrake 9.2, worked (mostly) fine. This is a Realtek ALC650 rev 3 chip, using the intel8x0 driver. Please, any help would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated.
