I'm blown away by the number of controls in alsamixer for this card, I'm able to control the front,center and rear speaker volumes, but there doesnt seem to be a control for the side speakers.
Also I'd be grateful for someone who could show me what voodoo magic I can put into my ~/.asoundrc to create a device that lets me play a sound through just one out of the 7 speakers
