Hi guys... lets to my problem...

I have a Slackware, with kernel 2.4.18 and 2.6.3. I tried to install the
als4000 in the 2.4.18 but the following problem occoured:

bash-2.05a# modprobe snd-als4000
/lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/sound/pci/snd-als4000.o: init_module: No such
device
/lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/sound/pci/snd-als4000.o: Hint: insmod errors
can be c aused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid
IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/sound/pci/snd-als4000.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.18/k ernel/sound/pci/snd-als4000.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/sound/pci/snd-als4000.o: insmod snd-als4000 failed

I downloaded the following items to install:
- alsa-driver-1.0.3
- alsa-lib-1.0.3b
- alsa-utils-1.0.3
