[Alsa-user] Precompiled drivers

I am trying to install ALSA for a IBM/Cirrus Logic CS-4235B Crystal Audio on board chip on stable debian woody over linux 2.2.20 The instructions at http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Cirrus+Logic&card=CS4235&chip=CS4235&module=cs4236 require me to compile the module. Can I download the module snd-cs4236.o without compiling? Where should I go to download? [The apt-get install alsa-base did not generate the requested module.] /Strider
