I have a Shuttle XPC (SN41G2 w/nVidia nForce) running Fedora Core 1 and the latest ALSA 1.03. I cannot get digital audio out of the SPDIF port but analog audio from at least the headphone jack works fine. I have tried many things to no avail. Please help.
