alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device

^thats the results from removing it and using modprobe, still not detected.

Maybe the OSS driver (intel8xx_audio) is still loaded?

What happens when you run "rmmod snd-intel8x0; modprobe snd-intel8x0"?
