Oops, I actually meant asound.state.

Because no driver is loaded for the device nodes of the second card.

Please disable all 3D stuff, and try fiddling with the "PCM Out Path"
control.

Probably not.  The AD1881A has two stereo line-level outputs, and an
amplifier is needed for headphones only.  Is the headphone output
affected by the "Master Volume" control?
