No idea what snd-pcm1-oss would be. It certainly does not exist in my
version of alsa.
What makes you think that krec requires this module? It is always better to
post the symptoms rather than your interpretation of those. Since you do
not know what is happening, the chances are high that you have
misinterpreted the symptoms.
Can you record with arecord?

1) disable ALL alsa applications like 'ams', 'alsaplayer', etc., but do
leave 'alsamixer' open;
