This is with alsa 1.0.10.

I have a Gina3G and it works fine (great!)
But, when loading the module it complains about:
  Mar 26 14:49:44 host kernel: snd_echo3g: Unknown parameter `index'

I'm using /etc/modprobe.conf to set the order of the soundcards:

  alias snd-card-0 snd-echo3g
  options snd-card-0 index=0

[and if I add "options snd-card-echo3g index=0" the module does not load
at all]
