My distribution (Mandriva) does not provide newer ALSA modules
- until next release.

So, if I want to have newer ALSA, I have to compile it myself - and
that's what I don't want to do.

Do you know any distribution which updates kernel and drivers
(I'm not talking security fixes) between the releases ?
