I have a acer M5 computer with M1573 ULI AC'97 on mother card ATI Xpress 200
I am on a Mandriva 2006 LE with kernel 2.6.12-12mdksmp in 64 bits mode.
I updated alsa 1.0.9b to 1.0.11 to support this card ( ULI M5461 compatible)
alsaconf show me this card ( presented in menu)
but failed at driver running
alsa start don't work fine

As you can see it's a problem of init on card (a null pointer), and I have not
the full debuging kit on my PC.
and /proc/asound/cards have
--- no soundcards ---
Could Someone help me and give me some ideas where to search?
