Hi, having discovered a full-duplex problem with ekiga (echo test does not work) I've been trying to get arecord working with the following error message.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~08:54:03$ aplay test.wav ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:224:(make_local_socket) connect failed: /tmp/alsa-dmix-3144-1151964534-454560: No such file or directory ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:894:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to connect client aplay: main:547: audio open error: No such file or directory I had previously noticed /tmp/alsa-dmix-3144-1151964534-454560 and deleted it, thinking it had got there by error. Ekiga's full-duplex problem (default sound app, alsa) preceded the deletion. (1) How do I reinstall alsa-dmix-3144-1151964534-454560 ? (2) Where do I put it ?
