Hi,
I'm trying to get Audacity to record a stream off my M-Audio Delta
1010LT. Since Audacity in its default config only supports reading
from /dev/dsp, my question is: What does /dev/dsp reflect in the Alsa
world and is there any .asoundrc or other magic I can use to redirect a
stream coming from HW/ADC-IN (or SPDIF-IN optimumly) so I can read it
at /dev/dsp?
I'm also trying to recompile Audacity to use its experimental Alsa
interface, but not having much luck yet.
Failing that, is there a better way of sampling an input channel and
then viewing the waveform in high detail that'll work on Linux?
TIA,
