Hi, I have terratec phase 26 USB which is supposed to work under linux. I have the following problems: When the card is in 24/48 mode 'alsamixer -c 1' displays just 1 PCM bar (=channel?). When put in 16/48 mode I get 4 bars all labelled PCM.
aplay -l tells: **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: nForce2 [NVidia nForce2], device 0: Intel ICH [NVidia nForce2] Subdevices: 0/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: nForce2 [NVidia nForce2], device 2: Intel ICH - IEC958 [NVidia nForce2 - IEC958] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: USB1648 [PHASE 26 USB(16/48)], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 But when I try: 'aplay -D hw:1 KDE_Startup_new.wav' (I dont know if this command is correct) aplay tells me: Playing WAVE 'KDE_Startup_new.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 22050 Hz, Stereo aplay: set_params:909: Channels count non available Any Help will be appreciated.
