yes, you guessed right, frank. I want to drive a 5.1 speaker system.

just to get the most out of my money ;=) 
But to be serious. I have lots of good samples and want to use them without a 
need to resample in apps like ardour. If this isn't possible i need to 
downgrade to a 16bit, 44100 Hz system. But if it's possible ......
