How would I define one ALSA device (eg pcm.!default) to accept both 2- and 6-channel input?
My application may need to play both 2- and 6-channel media, and I can only define one ALSA device. I obviously want all 6 channels to be routed appropriately, and the 2-channel stream I would want to be routed to the right and left, and mixed to the center, and low-passed and sent to the LFE channel.
