I'm not sure how to deal with this one in alsa-tools/ld10k1?

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `simple.emu10k1', needed by `all-am'. Stop.
Also, further up in the configure output for ld10k1 it mentions...
checking for as10k1... no
so should the alsa-tools components, or some of them, be built
in a certain order perhaps?
