Hello, I have bought Acer Aspire 6920 laptop that comes with the ALC889 Analog chipset [from aplay -l] (Intel 8280H ICH8 Family [from lspci]).
Now im using ubuntu 8.10 with newest alsa(18a) and sound works but... The problem is that sound volume is quite low and tuba bass speaker (Laptop has 3 internal speakers) doesnt work. I'm using [options snd-hda-intel model=auto] in configuration file.
