Hello,

Thank you for helping me. This is an input bracket that is directly 
plugged to the motherboard (3 pins connector). It is made by Giga-byte. 
The motherobard version is GA-EG43-S2H. I tested some options parameters 
  in the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file like options snd-hda-intel 
model=6stack-dig . I downgraded to alsa 1.0.17 (was on 1.0.19) and still 
the same problem. So the SPDIF output is working but not the input. By 
the way, I got another motherboard with a different REALTEK chip (889A) 
and the input is working perfectly. Another test I did is switch the 
input motherboard bracket to the other PC and it was working so it is 
not a defetive bracket.
