Hello, Thank you for helping me. This is an input bracket that is directly plugged to the motherboard (3 pins connector). It is made by Giga-byte. The motherobard version is GA-EG43-S2H. I tested some options parameters in the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file like options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-dig . I downgraded to alsa 1.0.17 (was on 1.0.19) and still the same problem. So the SPDIF output is working but not the input. By the way, I got another motherboard with a different REALTEK chip (889A) and the input is working perfectly. Another test I did is switch the input motherboard bracket to the other PC and it was working so it is not a defetive bracket.
Thank you, Vedran Miletić wrote : > On Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 5:58 AM, jacques <ocean4...@gmail.com> wrote: >> Hello, >> >> After updating alsa drivers and other packages from 1.0.17 to 1.0.19, I >> finally got the SPDIF output working.
