Hi, I've juggled around with jackd but since I was not able to persuade mythtv to run with it so far, I wanted to see if it's possible to do this with alsa:
I've a PC with a standard 00:05.0 Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP61 High Definition Audio (rev a2) device where I hook up an external audio device to line-in which I want to record from. The box itself is connected to a TV (VGA and line-out). Now I would like to watch mythtv-recordings while at the same time record some old tapes via line-in. If I do that now, I get both on the TV, i.e. the movie plus the tape. Is there a way to seperate these and do both things in parallel?
