Hi Clemens
I did try
arecord -D default:1 -f dat test.wav
and got the same error message,
"Unknown parameters 1".
I also tried my Lexicon Omega on an ancient laptop
running Ubuntu 8.04, and both 'arecord' and 'aplay'
worked fine with the "-D default:Omega" option.
But it doesn't on my EEE 901 running Ubuntu 9.04!
Cheers
Vini
