Hi everybody, I have recently bought a Behringer Flow8 mixer that provides 2 stereo inputs (from mixer point of view) as well as a single stereo pair output (master fader). In ArchLinux running pulseaudio on top of Alsa the USB interface is handled as Surround 4.0 + Analog Stereo Input.
What I would like to achieve is to split the surround channel into 2 completely stereo outputs called USB-12 and USB-34 (to be compliant with the manual). # ----- example ~/.asound.rc ------ cards.USB-Audio.pcm.surround40_type { "FLOW 8" two_stereo_devices } <confdir:pcm/surround40.conf> cards.USB-Audio.pcm.surround40_two_stereo_devices { @args [ CARD ] @args.CARD { type string } type route ttable.0.0 1 ttable.1.1 1 ttable.2.2 1 ttable.3.3 1 slave.pcm { type multi slaves { a { pcm { type hw card $CARD device 0 } channels 2 } b { pcm { type hw card $CARD device 1 } channels 2 } } bindings [ { slave a channel 0 } { slave a channel 1 } { slave b channel 0 } { slave b channel 1 } ] } } # ------ END OF CONFIG -------- Appreciating any advice. *Kind Regards,* *Sebastian Mangelsen* ------------------ Sebastian Gothenburg, Sweden a...@mangelsen.se
