Fastball Fever!
Tuesday, July 17, 2007
Well we now know the 67 teams who are going to be competing on
the
best-groomed fields in Canada in August at the ISC World Tournament
(August 10-18)
and ISC II Tournament of Champions (August 14-18).

The Host Committee in Kitchener is putting the final details
together to
beat the challenge of raising the standards of excellence once
again.

171 games of Fastball, 67 Competing Teams, 9 days of competition,
3 ball
parks, 2 tournaments, Fastball Fever! That is not enough? Then
how about
adding a third tournament to the mix. This year we will have
some strong
contenders competing in the Midget Under 19 Youth Tournament
at Hallman Ball
Yard, we are hoping for 5 teams.

Of course Pete is back with another outstanding Bridge to the
Future Skills
clinic that betters 02 and 06 clinics. The world famous Anna
Mae¹s pies will
be served from Donna¹s Diner again this year, what is your favorite
flavor?
John is busy putting the finishing touches on the Tournament
Program and he
is also all ready to go with the Hall of Fame Breakfast. John
is also
gathering tidbits for his outstanding Diamond Dirt editions.

Significant changes have been made to the park plan this year
that will
enhance the experience for the fans. A few added features as
well that will
catch everybody¹s interest.

This year¹s event will culminate with Championship Saturday (August
18). Semi-Finals and
Finals of the Midget, Tournament of Champions and World Tournament
divisions
will all be played at Hallman Ball Yard on the final Championship
Saturday
of the Event. You do not want to miss what will be the single
most important
and entertaining day of Fastball the world has ever seen.

Have you got Fastball Fever yet, you will catch it at the World¹s
this year,
you can count on it! Looking forward to infecting you with the
Fever again
this year in Kitchener and Cambridge.
