2010-11 Durham Lords Varsity Schedules Released OSHAWA, Ont. The 2010-11 Durham College varsity sports schedules and tryout dates are now online at www.durhamlords.com. Highlighting the season is the 2011 Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) Mens Basketball National Championship that will be held at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre from March 15-19, 2011. It will feature the top eight mens basketball teams in the country battling it out for the national crown. The championship field will consist of the winning teams from each conference: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces as well as two wild card teams. As the host, Durham College will receive the final bid in the championship. The top collegiate fastball teams in Ontario will also be heading to Oshawa in October as Durham College has been selected to host the 2010 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) womens fastball championship. The provincial championship will be taking place at Durham Fields from October 15-16, 2010 and will feature the top four teams in Ontario contending for the provincial crown. The format will be the traditional double knock-out system.
