Quebec comes back to beat Kitchener

Game 1 of the 2011 Senior Mens Fastpitch Championships featured The Kitchener 
Hallman Twins vs Softball Quebec.

On the power of two homeruns from Softball Quebec they defeated Kitchener by a 
score of 5-2.

Darren Zack recorded the win for Quebec going five innings giving up seven 
hits, two runs and struck out three. Don Scott took the loss for Kitchener 
going six innings giving up 5 hits , 5 runs and struck out seven.

Kitchener got the scoring started with a Andy Jacskon RBI double in the 2nd 
innings, Quebec answered in the bottom half with a Steve Savard solo homerun. 
With the game 2-1 Kitchener in the bottom of the 5th Matthew Lessard crushed a 
two run homerun over the center field fence giving them a 3-2 lead and they 
never looked back from that point on adding 2 more runs in the bottom half of 
the 6th inning.

Quebec improves to 1-0 and plays again tomorrow at 2pm vs British Colombia. 
With the loss KItchener drops to 0-1 and now plays agian at 3pm today from the 
team from Newfoundland.
